-Fruit sorbets and ice creams are a healthy way to indulge in a treat without the guilt.
-I usually prep my food on my days off;I make my snacks and portion them, cut up veggies for snacks and meals, and cook grains I will be using for the week. This helps me reduce my prep time during my busy work week. I also make some meals like soups, stews, overnight oats, or even pancakes that I can freeze to have on hand when I just don't have time to cook and out of supplies.
-Sometimes when I need to substitute mayo for recipes I will use good healthy fat and use an avocado mayo.

-I usually make my own nut butters that way I know exactly what is going in them. It is easy to make almond, cashew, sunflower, and many others in less than 20 minutes. You just put a cup or two of whatever type of nut you want to make nut butter with and put in a food processor and blend until the oils release and they become smooth (about 5-8 minutes depending on the quality of your food processor or blender). Also sunflower butter will need to have a tbsp. or two of sunflower oil added to it based on how many cups of seeds you use.
-When I do my baking I usually use the Enjoy Life brand of dark chocolate;it is dairy, soy, nut, and gluten free. I also like to use cocoa nibs to balance out the texture and flavors. Did you know cocoa nibs are considered a superfood?
